If they've every made an update, it's not obvious to me, but there's nothing worn or shabby about it. The whole joint is one, rectangular room done in the traditional Chinese restaurant style. There are always folks dining there but I have never had to wait on a table. The staff is consistently pleased to see you. Some of their stuff comes out of the freezer but much of it is made fresh. Don't expect exotic dishes, sushi or fancy items at the Garden, just nicely prepared Chinese classics. the upscale Asian places like Basil and Jasmine. The Garden nicely fills the niche between the crappy Chinese carryout places that mass produce their stuff and. It's been in the same spot and largely unchanged for all of the +30 years I have been in Canton. Panda Garden is a practically a landmark. They used to be open for lunch, which we all miss, but I think staffing is an issue like many other restaurants. While I was there for my take out, several others were doing the same….so, trust me if the restaurant doesn’t seem busy inside, they do a huge take out service. Never had a problem and our order is always accurate. These are hard working people, a clean restaurant and very efficient. I’ve tried several dishes over the years and I have not been disappointed. ![]() ![]() My husband can just about eat everything but saves the soup for the next day. So, we tend to get the family style dinners for $14.50 which includes your entree, fried rice, egg roll and soup! It’s a good deal and a huge serving. believe most all the meals have steamed rice included but not fried rice. Someone wrote that rice is not included, I. The sweet and sour chicken is delicious!Įgg roll is very good and the fried rice is very good. We ate our “to go meal” before I remembered to take a photo!
